Chenab Engineering Tractor Parts: The Complete Guide to Every Cast Component We Make

Quick answer: Chenab Engineering Works manufactures a full range of precision-cast tractor parts for Massey Ferguson (MF 240, MF 350, MF 385), Fiat 480, and Case International tractors. The catalogue covers front supports, wheel hubs, axle housings, final drive tubes, differential cases and plates, diff-lock parts, hydraulic lift covers and cylinders, oil sumps, pistons, pulleys, and cooling parts, all cast in grey or ductile iron and CNC machined to OEM part numbers in Faisalabad, Pakistan. This guide explains every part and how it is made.

From Raw Material to a Part That Bolts Straight On

Since 1985, Chenab Engineering Works has been a precision cast iron foundry and CNC machining company in Faisalabad, Pakistan, recognized by Millat as a top casting and machining vendor. We make agricultural tractor parts the way a workshop actually needs them: cast to the correct OEM part number, machined on the faces and bores that matter, and checked before they leave. You can read more on our About page. This guide walks through our complete tractor parts range, grouped by the system each part belongs to.

How Every Part Is Made

Each component below passes through the same controlled process. The links lead to the full details on each stage.

Design and Development: CAD and CAM engineering, rapid prototyping, and tooling so the part is right before it is cast.

Foundry: grey iron and ductile iron casting in grades such as GG25 and GGG40, plus carbon and alloy steel, to ISO and TUV standards.

Machining: CNC turning, milling, and surface grinding to hold tight tolerances on every face and bore.

Material Specification: grade selection and spectroscopic analysis so each part is cast from a verified material.

Quality Assurance: CMM inspection, hardness testing, and non-destructive testing with full traceability.

Heat Treatment: annealing, normalizing, and hardening in controlled atmosphere furnaces for strength and wear resistance.

The Complete Tractor Parts Range

Every part below is precision cast and machined to OEM specifications and is available for export, with a typical lead time of two to four weeks. Browse the full catalogue anytime on our Tractor Parts page.

Front Axle Supports

The front support is the casting that joins the engine to the front axle and carries the weight of the front end. A cracked or worn support throws out the steering geometry, so a correctly cast replacement is one of the most requested parts in any workshop.

Front Support MF 240

The MF 240 is the tractor you see in every village, and its front support takes constant load and shock. Cast and machined to part number 14700, this replacement puts a tired front end back to square so steering stays sharp and tyres wear evenly.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 240  ·  Part No: 14700

Front Support 350

A front support casting for the Massey Ferguson 350, machined on the engine and axle-pivot faces for a straight bolt-on fit. It keeps the front axle located and the engine mounting solid under heavy draft work.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 350  ·  Part No: 148017

Front Support MF 385

The bigger, harder-pulling MF 385 puts more strain on its front end, so this support carries extra metal at the axle pivot and engine mounting. Cast to part number 143003, it holds up to loader work, heavy field draft, and repeated shock loads.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 385  ·  Part No: 143003

Front Support 480

Made specifically to the 480 (Al Ghazi) pattern, not adapted from another model, this support anchors the engine and holds the front axle through years of fieldwork. Strong wall sections keep the axle pivot located and the machined faces seat flat for a correct bolt-up.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: 480 (Al Ghazi)  ·  Part No: 5134633

Wheel Hubs

The hub is where the wheel meets the axle. It has to spin dead true and hold the wheel studs without working loose, so the bearing bore and stud circle are machined to size on every unit.

Hub MF 385

Cast and machined on the bearing bore and stud circle to part number 143101, this MF 385 hub keeps the wheel running straight and the nuts torqued correctly, reducing the risk of loose wheel fittings under field load.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 385  ·  Part No: 143101

Hub Fiat 480

Built for the Fiat 480 to part number 4971444, this hub locates the wheel bearing and carries the wheel studs. The CNC-machined concentric bore keeps the wheel rolling without wobble through a long working season.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: Fiat 480  ·  Part No: 4971444

Front Wheel Hub

The front wheel hub carries the steered front wheels, so it must run smooth while being turned and loaded at the same time. Cast and machined for Massey Ferguson and Fiat front axles, with the exact part confirmed by tractor model before dispatch.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF and Fiat front axles  ·  Part confirmed by model

Axle Housings and Final Drive

These heavy structural castings enclose the axle shafts and final drive gears and carry the full load of the rear end. Bearing bores and flange faces are machined to OEM tolerances so the housing bolts up with zero gaps.

Axle Housing 385 LH

A left-hand axle housing for the 385, with reinforced ribbing and precision-machined bearing bores that support the axle shafts under heavy tillage and field loads. Cast to part number 103480 at around 82 kg, it mates to the differential housing with OEM-equivalent tolerances.

Material: High-Grade Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: 385  ·  Part No: 103480  ·  Weight: 82 kg

Axle Housing 385 RH

The right-hand companion housing, engineered for Case International models and machined to a 115 mm inner diameter, 48.7 mm thread ID, and a 22.20 to 19.60 mm track-rod taper. Verified against OEM numbers 3229802R1 and 3230954R1, it fits across the 385 to 885XL range and compatible series.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: Case IH 248 to 885XL  ·  OEM: 3229802R1 / 3230954R1

Tube Final Drive (S.G)

A spiral-gear final drive tube that transfers power from the transmission to the rear axle. Precision-ground bearing journals seat the taper roller bearings and spiral gear set accurately for smooth, quiet, vibration-free running.

Material: High-Grade Cast Iron  ·  Process: Sand cast + CNC, precision ground  ·  SKU: CEW-TFD-001

Differential and Diff-Lock Components

The differential lets the wheels turn at different speeds, while the diff-lock locks them together for grip in soft ground. These parts handle high torque, so they are cast in ductile iron and alloy steel and checked for alignment on the CMM.

Diff Case 385 Combine

A ductile-iron differential case for the 385 combine harvester, with reinforced walls and machined bearing journals built to handle high torque during heavy harvesting. CNC-machined mating faces align it exactly with the transmission housing.

Material: Ductile Iron  ·  Application: 385 Combine  ·  Process: Investment cast + CNC

Diff Plate L.H.

A left-hand differential side plate cast from ductile iron (grade 65-45-12) for high impact resistance. Reinforced bearing journals spread the differential loads evenly, and CMM-checked mounting faces keep the differential carrier in perfect alignment for vibration-free operation.

Material: Ductile Iron 65-45-12  ·  Finish: Precision ground  ·  SKU: CEW-DPL-071

Pivot Diff Lock

The pivot mechanism that engages and releases the differential lock. Cast from alloy steel with hardened pivot points and a zinc-plated finish, it gives smooth, repeatable engagement that resists mud, moisture, and field chemicals.

Material: Alloy Steel  ·  Finish: Zinc plated  ·  SKU: CEW-PVT-001

Adopter Plate

A precision-cast adapter plate used to mount and align mating assemblies to the correct bolt pattern, machined for an accurate, repeatable fit. (See the publishing note at the end about confirming this page.)

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Process: Cast + CNC machined

Hydraulic Lift and Three-Point Linkage

The hydraulic lift raises and lowers the three-point linkage and any mounted implement. These castings have to stay flat and seal under pressure, or the lift gets slow and an implement sags. Mating faces and bores are machined for a clean seal.

Hydraulic Lift Cover

The large top housing that the entire three-point lift mechanism bolts into. Cast solid and machined flat on the mating face to part number 26200, it carries the lift shaft and seals the hydraulic oil for both the MF 385 and MF 240.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 385 / MF 240  ·  Part No: 26200

Hydraulic Cylinder

The cylinder that does the heavy lifting on the three-point linkage. Its bore is machined so the piston seal slides cleanly and the lift holds a full implement without creeping down. Supplied to the part numbers for both the MF 385 and MF 240 lifts.

Material: Cast Iron  ·  Fitment: MF 385 / MF 240  ·  Part No: 263058 / 26015

Cap Lift Cover

Sits on top of the MF 240 hydraulic lift housing and provides a flat, leak-free sealing surface. Precision cast and CNC-machined to part number 26066, it prevents oil leakage and pressure loss so the lift performs smoothly under load.

Materials and Quality

Every part in this range is cast from a material chosen for the job. Grey iron, such as GG25, is used where machinability and vibration damping matter. Ductile iron, such as GGG40 and grade 65-45-12, is used for parts that take impact and high torque, like differential cases and plates. Carbon and alloy steel are used for high-wear and high-load components. Each casting is verified by spectroscopic analysis, dimensional inspection on a CMM, hardness testing, and non-destructive testing before it ships.
